Low Fat Chicken Recipe Ingredients:
2 1/2 lb low fat chicken; pieces, cleaned
2 chicken bouillon blocks;
(Borden Low Sodium)
1 tb margarine
1c green pepper; diced (1 prescription. pepper)
1c radishes; meagerly cut
1c pineapple, crude; lumps, canned, unsweetened
1/2 c pineapple juice
1ts light soy sauce
2 tb flour
ds pepper
4 1/2 c rice; cooked
chow mein noodles; discretionary
Low Fat Chicken Recipe INSTRUCTIONS
Stew the low fat chicken in water with bouillon blocks. Eliminate meat from bones and cut into lumps. Save 1 cup of chicken stock. While chicken is cooking, dissolve margarine in skillet or wok and saute the radishes, green peppers, and pineapple until fresh delicate, yet all at once not brown.
Blend 1 cup saved chicken stock with 1/2 cup pineapple juice and 1 tsp. soy sauce. Add to dish. Blend flour in with 1 Tb. cold water and mix to eliminate protuberances. Add to vegetables.
Add cut up chicken and a smidgen of pepper, and cook until everything is hot.
The low fat chicken formula of salaam chicken is prepared to serve over rice. Whenever wanted, sprinkle chow mein noodles on top...nice ! Appreciate it !
